2007, AlcoholCitation Excerpt :Six channels of bipolar EEG (F3-C3, C3-P3, P3-01 and F4-C4, C4-P4, P4-02, international 10-20 system) were obtained using an electrode cap (impedance <5K ohms), as described. Bipolar recordings were obtained for comparison to previous studies in a wide range of ethnic groups (see Ehlers et al., 1999; Ehlers & Schuckit, 1990, 1991; Wall et al., 1993). A forehead ground electrode and an electrode placed left lateral infraorbitally and referenced to the left earlobe were used to monitor both horizontal and vertical eye movement.
