The most common type of T-cell lymphoma was mycosis fungoides (MF), with 25 cases2,32,42,43,45,59,72,79,84,86,87,96,110,115,135,159,165,170,181,184,206,216,231 (13%). The second most common was low-grade primary cutaneous anaplastic large-cell lymphoma20,46,76,121,124,148,162,192,193,217,239 (C-ALCL) and high-grade extranodal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma6,36,130,157,197,219,241 (NKTL), with 12 cases each (6%).
Malignant lymphoma of the conjunctiva
2015, Survey of OphthalmologyCitation Excerpt :The most frequent subtypes of T-cell lymphoma in the conjunctiva appear to be the adult T-cell lymphoma and anaplastic large-cell lymphoma, with 3 cases of each reported.17,27 Moreover, there are 2 cases of mycosis fungoides and 1 case each of angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, diffuse large T-cell lymphoma, acute lymphoblastic lymphoma of T-cell type, and NK/T-cell lymphoma.29,47,54,98,145 Conjunctival lymphoma is primarily a disease of the elderly, but has been described in patients from 33 months up to 92 years of age.
