Low-temperature superconductors: Nb<inf>3</inf>Sn, Nb<inf>3</inf>Al, and NbTi
2023, SuperconductivityHigh temperature micro-deformation behavior of continuous TiNb fiber reinforced TiAl matrix composite investigated by in-situ high-energy X-ray diffraction
2022, Materials Science and Engineering: ACitation Excerpt :In TiNb fiber, the precipitation of α-TiNb is evident especially during work hardening stage, the content of which is increase from 5.7 vol% to 8.6 vol%. Study by Lee shows that the α-TiNb would contain filamentous subgrains along the drawing direction, surrounded by tubular barriers formed by high-density dislocations clustered, and its volume fraction could increase in the aging process [33]. Combined with Fig. 10b, it is clear the TiNb fiber still maintains a high dislocation density at work hardening stage, which provides a further driving force for the β→α phase transformation process.
Observation of zero resistance in as-electrodeposited FeSe
2018, Solid State CommunicationsCitation Excerpt :The resolution of the NMR spectrometer is strongly related to the intensity of the applied magnetic field. The maximum magnetic field of the NbTi magnet is limited to 10 T because of its upper critical field (Hc2 (0) ∼ 10 T) [2,3]. Therefore, superconductors with relatively high Hc2 are necessary for a high-field-magnet wire.
