2023, HardwareXAbrasive wear of nanostructured cermet coatings in dry and slurry conditions
2021, International Journal of Refractory Metals and Hard MaterialsCitation Excerpt :Nanostructured powders (coating constituents) were provided by MBN (MBN Nanomaterialia, Italy) and thermal spraying was carried out by PyroGenesis, Greece. Nanostructured powders were obtained by high-energy ball-milling of powder according to Mechanomade® process as reported by Basset et al. and others [12–14]. Milling was carried out under vacuum to avoid any contamination and unforeseen reactions.

2020, International Journal of Hydrogen EnergyCitation Excerpt :Any synthesis route must be reproducible, inexpensive, and controllable; however, most of the current method employed for electrocatalysts synthesis tends to be costly or very complex to scale. In this sense, high-energy ball milling (HEBM) is a very attractive synthesis method as it allows for facile scaling [27–32]. This work resorted to HEBM for its reproducibility and its potential for mass production of nanosized catalysts [29], besides that HEBM allows to control the crystalline structure of Co [30] and to form solid solutions type Co100-XNiX [31].
