Hadronic weak decays of ψ

Abstract

We have calculated the rates for the rare processes →D0K0, Ds+π, D0K∗0 and Ds+ ρ in a factorization model. We find that the decays involving D0 in the final state are color suppressed with B(→Ds+π)≈-(2.05, 4.05)×10−8%, B(→ D0K0)≈-(0.37, 0.86)×10−8%. We also find B(→Ds+π)⋍(4.93, 5.03) B(→Ds+π) and B(→D0K∗0)⋍(0.09, 0.11) B(→Ds+ρ), where the two numbers are obtained with the oscillator parameters ω=0.4 GeV and 0.5 GeV, respectively.
