Hadronic weak decays of ψ

Abstract

We have calculated the rates for the rare processes →D⁰K⁰, D_s⁺π⁻, D⁰K^∗0 and D_s⁺ ρ⁻ in a factorization model. We find that the decays involving D⁰ in the final state are color suppressed with B(→D_s⁺π⁻)≈-(2.05, 4.05)×10⁻⁸%, B(→ D⁰K⁰)≈-(0.37, 0.86)×10⁻⁸%. We also find $\text{B(→}\text{D}{}_{\mathrm{s}}{}^{\mathrm{+}}\text{π}{}^{\mathrm{-}}\text{)⋍(4.93, 5.03) B(→}\text{D}{}_{\mathrm{s}}{}^{\mathrm{+}}\text{π}{}^{\mathrm{-}}\text{)}$ and $\text{B(→}\text{D}{}^0\text{K}{}^{\mathrm{\ast 0}}\text{)⋍(0.09, 0.11) B(→}\text{D}{}_{\mathrm{s}}{}^{\mathrm{+}}\text{ρ}{}^{\mathrm{-}}\text{)}$, where the two numbers are obtained with the oscillator parameters ω=0.4 GeV and 0.5 GeV, respectively.
