Deoxyoligonucleotide analogs based on formacetal linkages

Abstract

This report describes the synthesis of a trimer of thymidine bearing formacetal linkages, its incorporation into a longer deoxyoligonucleotide and characterization of the hybridization properties with a complementary RNA sequence.
