Only one study had score 5 [6], whereas 5 studies had score 6 [18,22,23,49,50] and 28 studies score ≥ 7. A positive and significant association was found between SUA levels and all-cause mortality (RR: 1.21, 1.07–1.37, p = 0.002, n = 15 studies, Fig. 2), with no risk of heterogeneity (I2:36.4, p = 0.124).
