Prior aerobic physical training modulates neuropeptide expression and central thermoregulation after ovariectomy in the rat
2022, Molecular and Cellular EndocrinologyCitation Excerpt :The brains were frozen in 99% isopentane at a temperature between −40 and −50 °C for 1 min and stored at −80 °C until the time of obtaining the sections in cryostat. Brain sections of 30 μm were obtained and stored in a cryoprotective solution at −20 °C (Watson et al., 1986). The free-floating method (Szawka et al., 2010a, 2013b) was used to mark Fos in POA and hypothalamus nuclei (PVN and ARC) and double marking of Fos and Tyrosine Hydroxylase (TH) in A1, A2, and LC of the brainstem.
