Abstract

Cure rate experiments with the Rhabdomyosarcoma BA 1112 were performed to verify whether the results, obtained by tumour cell titrations agree with tumour cure rates after irradiation. Satisfactory agreement between the results, obtained with the two systems was found. It was also found that very tiny tumours of about 6 mg are likely to contain anoxic areas, because their radiosensitivity was very similar to that of larger tumours.
