Samenvatting

De zogeheten taalontwikkelingsstoornis (TOS) lijkt weinig bekend, maar komt bij ongeveer 5% van de kinderen voor. En afgaande op de statistieken zou deze ook bij veel volwassenen nog een rol kunnen spelen. TOS is een neurocognitieve ontwikkelingsstoornis, waarbij het vermogen om taal te leren en de taalverwerking in de hersenen moeilijk verlopen.
