Orgaandonatie na euthanasie is wettelijk toegestaan maar nog relatief onbekend bij huisartsen. Arts en jurist Jan Bollen onderzocht in het Maastricht UMC+ dit altruïstische fenomeen en schreef een praktische handreiking voor de arts die van een patiënt het verzoek krijgt voor de combinatie euthanasie en orgaandonatie.
