Samenvatting

Eén op de vijf Nederlandse vrouwen is ooit ongepland zwanger geweest, maar ongepland is niet altijd ongewenst. Van alle ongeplande zwangerschappen eindigt 13,5% met een abortus. Van de cliënten in abortusklinieken is 60% verwezen door de huisarts. Gezien het percentage van circa 30% herhaalde abortussen is anticonceptiecounseling erg belangrijk. Wij onderzochten het anticonceptiegebruik van vrouwen die voor een ongewenste zwangerschap hun huisarts consulteren.
