Deze winter promoveerde Marianne Schoevers op haar proefschrift“Hiding and Seeking”. Health problems and problems in accessing health care of undocumented female immigrants in the Netherlands. Schoevers is lange tijd werkzaam geweest in Malawi en is de schrijfster van diverse kinderboeken. Momenteel volgt ze de opleiding voor haar herregistratie als huisarts. In een interview vertelt ze over haar ervaringen tijdens haar promotieonderzoek.
