Online preventie en kortdurende behandeling van depressie: haalbaar, schaalbaar en effectief?

Samenvatting

Kortdurende begeleide zelfhulp voor depressieve klachten via het internet is sterk in ontwikkeling. De werkzaamheid en kosteneffectiviteit van deze preventieve en kortdurende interventies zijn in tal van studies aangetoond. Dit geldt met name voor volwassenen met depressieve klachten die zichzelf via het internet naar dit aanbod verwijzen. We staan in Nederland nu aan de vooravond van het daadwerkelijk implementeren van dit aanbod binnen de huisartsenpraktijk. Dit artikel geeft de huidige stand van zaken van dit online depressieaanbod in Nederland en de implementatie-uitdagingen waar de eerste lijn zich voor gesteld ziet.
