Zusammenfassung

Motorische Ersatzplastiken stellen rekonstruktive Eingriffe dar, mit deren Hilfe irreparable Funktionsabläufe wiederhergestellt werden können. Verlorene Funktionen können durch die Umlagerung gesunder Muskel-Sehnen-Einheiten ersetzt werden. Motorische Ersatzplastiken sind i.d.R. Sekundäreingriffe, wobei sie auch im Rahmen der primären Nervenrekonstruktion bei hoher Läsion als temporärer oder unterstützender Ersatz durchgeführt werden können. Im Bereich der oberen Extremität sind zahlreiche motorische Ersatzeingriffe anhand des Verletzungsmusters bzw. des verbliebenen Ausfalls beschrieben worden. Die Auswahl des geeigneten Verfahrens wird individuell nach Gesamtbetrachtung der Ausgangssituation und der Erwartungen des Patienten bestimmt.

Abstract

Tendon transfers are fascinating reconstructive procedures that allow fixing irreparable motor function by the transposition of healthy muscle-tendon units. Usually, tendon transfers are secondary procedures, but sometimes, they are applied primarily as a temporary substitute or supportive mechanism following proximal nerve repair. Numerous transfers have been proposed for the upper extremities depending on the injury pattern and the remaining functional deficit. The best procedure to apply is chosen individually after evaluation of the whole situation and the patient’s expectations.
