Abstract
This article is about ‘Birth Psychodrama’, which is an unprecedented therapy applied for the first time in the world of obstetrics and the labour ward. The author describes her work as a pregnancy and birth psychotherapist and the team with whom she works in Istanbul, Turkey. She presents two case studies from some of the births she has been involved with over the past five years: 90 from 2000–2015.

Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit dem Geburtspsychodrama, einer Therapieform, die weltweit erstmalig in der Welt der Geburtshilfe und im Kreißsaal zum Einsatz kommt. Die Autorin beschreibt ihre Arbeit als Schwangerschafts- und Geburtspsychotherapeutin zusammen mit ihrem Team in Istanbul/Türkei. Es werden zwei Fallstudien präsentiert aus der Vielzahl der Geburten, die sie in den letzten fünf Jahren begleitet hat; zwischen 2000 und 2015 waren es 90.
