In this review the most important contents of the contributions are summarized. It becomes clear, that this book is one of the best books on psychodrama therapy at all due to the variety of practical accounts. On the other hand, the author uncovers contradictions and gaps in the practical procedures and, if existing, their theoretical foundation. At times he presents complementary proposals and gets to a varied, critical appreciation of the individual articles.

Kellermann und Hudgins (Hrsg.) und 19 andere Autoren aus 9 verschiedenen Ländern der Erde geben in dem Buch „Psychodrama with Trauma Survivors“ (erschienen in der 2. Auflage bei Jessica Kingsley Publishers, London 2001) einen Überblick über ihre langjährigen Erfahrungen in der psychodramatischen Traumatherapie. In diesem Überblicks-Artikel werden die wichtigsten Inhalte der Buchbeiträge zusammengefasst dargestellt. Es wird deutlich, dass dieses Buch auf Grund der vielfältigen praxisnahen Darstellungen eines der besten Bücher über Psychodramatherapie überhaupt ist. Andererseits deckt der Referent aber auch Widersprüche und Lücken auf in den praktischen Vorgehensweisen und ihrer (wenn vorhanden) theoretischen Begründung, macht bisweilen ergänzende Vorschläge und kommt so zu einer differenzierten, kritischen Würdigung der einzelnen Artikel.
