Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

The electrochemical properties of the BMIMBF4 ionic liquid in a PVDF-co-HFP polymer matrix are studied. The issues related to aqueous and non-aqueous electrolytes and the advantages of solid-state electrolytes and ionic liquids are discussed. The method for producing a polymer electrolyte based on PVDF-co-HFP with an introduction of BMIMBF4 and LiBF4 is described. The techniques for preparing and analyzing the samples using NMR spectroscopy, impedance spectroscopy, DSC analysis, etc. are detailed. The CV results and impedance data of BMIMBF4 are presented and discussed, which indicate a high electrochemical stability. The temperature curves of the polymer electrolyte conductivity are presented, and the activation energy of ion transfer is calculated.
