The autowaves of localized plastic flow are considered for the stages of easy glide and linear work hardening in a number of metals. The propagation rates were determined experimentally for the autowaves in question with the help of speckle photography. The quadratic dispersion relations and the wave number dependences of phase and group velocities derived for the localized plastic flow autowaves are discussed.
