Quantum Kinetics of Neutral Particles with Spin: Spin Wave Spectrum in a One-Dimensional System of Dipoles

  • Published:
Russian Physics Journal Aims and scope

A derivation of the quantum kinetic equations for a system of particles with spin is presented. This derivation is based on the definition of the quantum distribution function corresponding to the classical microscopic distribution function of point particles, constructed with Dirac delta functions. Linear excitations in a one-dimensional system of neutral particles with spin are considered on the basis of the developed apparatus. The dispersion of the spin waves in a system of degenerate fermions is calculated analytically.
