Abstract

A comparative analysis of the diffusion process of the macromolecular chain in the polymer matrix was performed within the frameworks of the De Gennes, Edwards, and Doi approaches. The parameters of an elementary diffusion jump of the reptation loop were determined from the original experimental data on diffusion, self-diffusion, and the activation energy of diffusion of vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate copolymers to the polyvinyl chloride matrix.
