A study of treatment of molten metal under industrial conditions in nonstationary electromagnetic field of a low-power generator is performed and data on improvement of the structure and rising of the mechanical characteristics of the cast metal are obtained. The design of a generator equipped with guided emitter of electromagnetic oscillation, which is mounted against the melting furnace at a distance of up to 10 m is presented. The physical mechanisms of the action of the radiation of the generator on the volume of the melt are described in brief.
