Measurement Techniques Aims and scope

Results from an experimental investigation of fields of elastic displacements of a complex construction by means of holographic interferometry are presented. A multiply perforated tube plate under complex attachment conditions and experiencing a uniformly distributed load is used as the construction. The experimental results obtained are compared to the data of a calculation of fields of elastic deflections performed by the method of finite elements.
