Abstract
The conditions for determining platinum by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry after its extraction-chromatographic preconcentration and separation from iron(III) and copper(II) were selected. A procedure was developed that allows 0.01–0.1 mg/L platinum to be determined with a relative standard deviation of 5–7 % in the presence of 1000-fold amounts of Fe(III) and Cu(II).
