Calculated Substantiation of Controlled Compensation Grouting for Lifting the Foundation Slab of Zagorsk PSP-2

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

The use of the finite element method for numerical prediction of the results of using the controlled compensation grouting method which allows compensating settlements of buildings and structures by lifting them is examined. The method is based on using two grout compositions. The first composition is used for impregnating the soil around the sleeves to create a homogeneous isotropic shell and the second for compensating settlements.
