Zusammenfassung

Im Rahmen der Behandlung schwer verletzter oder potenziell schwer verletzter Patienten stellt der Nachweis und die Einschätzung bzw. der Ausschluss einer Verletzung des Thorax eines der wichtigsten Problemkomplexe dar. Hiervon hängt die Entscheidung zu einer Reihe wichtiger und invasiver Therapiemaßnahmen, wie beispielsweise zur Sauerstoffgabe, Intubation und Beatmung, die Steuerung der Volumentherapie und die Einlage einer Pleuradrainage ab. Die vorliegende systematische Übersichtsarbeit beschreibt den Stand des derzeitigen evidenzbasierten Wissens zur Diagnostik des stumpfen Thoraxtraumas (Teil 1) sowie zur Indikation und Durchführung der Drainage des Pleuraraums (Teil 2) in der Präklinik.
