Zusammenfassung

Großgefäßverletzungen bei Eingriffen an der thorakalen Wirbelsäule sind seltene, jedoch bekannte und schwere Komplikationen. Wir berichten über einen 55-jährigen Patienten mit aortaler Pedikelschraubenfehllage nach dorsalem Korrektureingriff in einer auswärtigen Klinik. Die endovaskuläre Versorgung der aortalen Läsion ermöglichte die ersatzlose Entfernung der fehlplatzierten Schrauben ohne weitere Komplikationen.

Abstract

Vascular injury to the great vessels in association with spinal reconstructive procedures is a rare but known and potentially serious complication. We present a case of a 55-year-old man with misplaced pedicle screws after posterior spine correction in an outside institution. After endovascular therapy, we removed the malpositioned screws without further complications.
