Primary osteoarthritis of the pisotriquetral joint

Summary. We present a case of primary osteoarthritis of the pisotriquetral joint in a women aged 54 years. Radiographs in half-supination showed the joint with advanced degenerative changes. Excision of the pisiform confirmed the diagnosis and relieved the pain.

Résumé. On présente un cas d’arthrose primaire de l’articulation piso-triquétrale chez une femme de 54 ans. Une radiographie de l’articulation avec 30&;° de supination a montré l’aspect dégénératif de l’articulation. L’ablation subpériostique de l’os pisiforme l’a soulagée et a confirmé le diagnostic. L’absence de facteur étiologique est compatible avec l’origine primaire de l’arthrose.
