Studies on adsorption behaviour of water vapour in lignin using the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller theory

Eucalyptus regnans

was studied. The adsorption isotherm was evaluated on the basis of the Brunauer, Emmett and Teller (BET) theory. Analysis of adsorption data in terms of primary and secondary water were carried out. A good agreement between experimentally obtained adsorption isotherms with those obtained using the BET theory, validating the use of the same in the elucidation of adsorption mechanism.

wurde untersucht. Die Adsorptions-Isotherme wurde mit Hilfe der Theorie von Brunauer, Emmett und Teller (BET-Theorie) bewertet. Eine Analyse der Adsorptionsdaten hinsichtlich primär und sekundär adsobierten Wassers wurde durchgeführt. Dabei ergab sich eine gute Übereinstimmung der experimentellen Adsoptions-Isothermen mit den theoretischen Kurven nach der BET-Theorie, die dadurch als wichtiges Hilfsmittel zur Deutung von Adsorptions-Isothermen bestätigt wurde.
