  2. Robert Seidel is co-author of Lawrence and His Laboratory (with John Heilbron) and of Los Alamos and the Making of the Atomic Bomb as well as of numerous articles on the history of national laboratories and high energy physics. He is professor emeritus of Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
