Lino de Macedo is a board member of the Jean Piaget Society (1999–2002) and coordinator of the Educational Psychology Laboratory of the University of São Paulo. He has supervised numerous doctoral and master’s theses and publishedEnsaios construtivistas [Constructivist essays] (1994),Quatro cores, senha e dominó [Four colours, passwords and dominoes] (1998) andAprender com jogos e situaoes-problemas [Learning with games and problem-situations] (2000), the latter two works being written with Petty and Passos. He is a specialist on Piagetian theory and its educational applications, and has written sixteen chapters featured in several books and over thirty articles.
