Additional information
Sumner Benson is deputy director for technology cooperation and security in the office of the secretary of defense. He has taught at Harvard University and the University of Chicago, worked at the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, and published numerous articles on the relationship between national security and international economics. He is chair-elect of the Section on National Security and Defense Administration of the American Society for Public Administration.
