Prostaglandin endoperoxides and thromboxanes: Formation and effects

Summary

The formation of prostaglandin (PG) endoperoxides and thromboxane A2 (TXA2) as components of rabbit aorta contracting substance is described. Their activity and their possible implication in pathophysiological processes is discussed.
