Summary

Leiperocotyle congolense (Baer, 1936) Eduardo, 1980 is redescribed and illustrated based on examination of the type specimens and new material. A new name, Leiperocotyle gretillati is proposed for Ceylonocotyle scoliocoelium var. benoiti Grétillat, 1966 after re-examination of the type specimens. It is redescribed and illustrated. A key to separate the species of the genus Leiperocotyle Eduardo, 1980 is provided.
