New phenolic constituents 1 and 2 have been isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble fraction of Caragana conferta along with 7-hydroxy-4′-methoxyisoflavone (3) and 5,6,7-trihydroxy-4′-methoxyflavone (4), reported for the first time from this species. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic studies. Compounds 1 and 3 showed a significant superoxide scavenging activity, while 2 was found to be moderately active.
