Zusammenfassung

Die Diagnostik des Schulterverdrehtraumas erfordert eine sorgfältige Anamneseerhebung, eine genaue klinische Untersuchung und die Durchführung röntgenologischer und sonographischer Bildgebung, die je nach Befunden durch eine Computertomographie oder Magnetresonanztomographie ergänzt werden können, damit gravierendere Verletzungsfolgen rechtzeitig erkannt und zeitgerecht therapiert werden können.

Abstract

For diagnostic evaluation of a distorsional trauma of the shoulder joint an accurate history must be elicited from the patient; further procedures required are a complete clinical examination and standard X-rays of the shoulder joint in two perpendicular planes together with an ultrasound examination. Depending on the clinical and radiological findings computerized or magnetic resonance tomography may be indicated in addition, to ensure that more serious injuries are not overlooked and can be promptly and adequately treated.
