Abstract
When treated with adequate abstraction simple principles can be developed for a quantitative characterization of oriented states in unaxially deformed partially crystallized polymer systems dependent on the macroscopic draw ratio. Whatever suggestion of the microscopic processes are made, some general regularities of the orientation-strain relation can be referred to essential properties of the micro-structure in partially-crystallized systems. It can be demonstrated that when an explanation of the orientation-strain relations will be formulated the crystal network model is good for any general understanding of the deformation and the shrinking processes in partially crystallized polymer systems.
