Al2O3/MeSO3H (AMA) a useful system for direct sulfonylation of phenols with p-toluenesulfonic acid

Abstract

A useful method for direct sulfonylation of phenols with p-toluenesulfonic acid in the presence of Al2O3/MeSO3H system has been described.
