Samenvatting
Dit artikel beschrijft een werkmodel om cliënten en hulpverleners in de kinder- en jeugdpsychiatrie zo eenvoudig mogelijk het complexe samenspel van biologische, psychologische en sociale krachten op het psychisch en gedragsmatig functioneren te verhelderen. Het menselijk functioneren wordt voornamelijk gerelateerd aan de wijze waarop op hersenniveau prikkels verwerkt worden. Dit model is speciaal ontwikkeld om uitgaande van de hulpvraag diagnostische overwegingen en behandeladviezen inzichtelijk te maken voor cliënten, waarmee een goede basis wordt gelegd voor het ontwikkelen van een vruchtbare werkrelatie.
