Kurzfassung
Im Rahmen dreier meeresbiologischen Exkursionen auf die Baleareninsel Ibiza (Spanien) im September 1999, sowie im März 1999 und 2000 gelangen erste Beobachtungen der im Mittelmeer erst kürzlich beschriebenen FlachkrabbePercnon gibbesi (H.Milne-Edwards 1853). Insgesamt wurden mehr als 50 Individuen im Flachwasser verschiedener Buchten angetroffen. Neben Angaben zur Morphologie der Belegexemplare erfolgen einige Bemerkungen zur Habitatstruktur, Ethologie und Nahrungsökologie.
Abstract
This is the first observation of the Grapsoid CrabPercnon gibbesi (H.Milne-Edwards 1853) for the Balearic Islands. Within the framework of three study trips (March and September 1999, March 2000) more than 50 individuals were observed on flat rocky grounds at different bays of the Balearic Island Ibiza (Spain). Apart from morphological details different information about habitat structure, ethology and feeding ecology are given in the present paper.
