Die Nomenklaturfrage der Belemniten im Senon und die stratigraphischen Zonennamen

Eine Übersicht über den Gebrauch der GattungsnamenBelemnites, Belemnitella undBelemnella sowie der ArtnamenB. mucronata undB. lanceolata wird gegeben. Der Allgemeine Gebrauch dieser Namen wird mit den korrekten Namen und den Originalabbildungen verglichen. Betreffend die Folgen der gefundenen Synonyme wird auf einen zukünftigen Beschluß der Internationalen Kommission für Zoologische Nomenklatur hingewiesen.

Abstract

A review is given of the use of the generic namesBelemnites, Belemnitella, andBelemnella and the specific namesB. mucronata andB. lanceolata. The now generally accepted use of these names has been compared with their correct use according to the original figures. Concerning the consequences of the synonyms found is referred to the coming decision of the International Commission of Zoological Nomenclature.
