First report in Israel of Aralia leaf-spot caused byAlternaria panax

Abstract

Aralia leaf-spot, a disease known on several species of Araliaceae in the continental U.S.A. and Hawaii, is reported here as a new occurrence onAralia sp. in Israel. The causal agent,Alternaria panax, was isolated from leaf spots and identified using conidial morphology.
