-
a)
Abstract
Most of the authors who have written on «sthocastics politics of replacement», have often kept on maintaining two assumptions on the models they presented:
-
a)
The system has only two possible states, working as new and failure.
-
b)
After the failure the system is replaced, becoming «as good as new».
In this article, we obtain some cost functions, for those systems on which cannot be maintained these assumptions. It is possible to obtain a time valueT*, through these cost functions, after which you must bring out a preventive replacement. In this way, it is proved that the valueT exists.
The abtained cost functions are two: The expected average long run cost per unit time and the total expected discounted cost.
