Characteristics of full-scale fires in various occupancies

Abstract

This paper is the second to result from research to evaluate the fire response of building materials. Here the authors discuss gas temperatures, radiant and convective heating, burning rates, and smoke development in full-scale fire tests that characterized the fire hazard of various occupancies.
