Abstract

The method of point mappings is applied to analyze stochastic oscillation modes in a relay system with hysteresis and an oscillationally unstable linear part. The stochasticity domains are identified in the parameter space of the relay system. Statistical methods are applied to find the mean time between relay switchings.
