Sensibilitätsstörungen der Frontzähne bei Kindern und Jugendlichen

Zusammenfassung

Bei 134 Kindern und Jugendlichen, die sich in kieferorthopädischer Behandlung befanden, wurden insgesamt 1435 bleibende Schneide- und Eckzähne untersucht. Fast die Hälfte der Probanden hatten ein Frontzahntrauma erlitten, wobei männliche und weibliche Patienten gleichermaßen betroffen waren. Mädchen waren jedoch weniger durch direkte Einwirkungen verletzt worden als Jungen. Sensibilitätsprüfungen mit Kohlensäureschnee ergaben Empfindungsstörungen hauptsächlich im Bereich der Oberkieferfrontzähne. Die Anzahl sensibilitätsgestörter Zähne war in der Gruppe mit Trauma im Vergleich zur Gruppe ohne Trauma erhöht.

Für Sensibilitätstests bei Jugendlichen ist der Kältetest gegenüber dem Elektrotest eindeutig zu bevorzugen.

Summary

1435 permanent incisors and canines were examined in 134 children and juveniles undergoing orthodontic treatment. Nearly 50% of the subjects had sustained trauma to their anterior teeth with equal numbers of boys and girls. Girls, however, were less often injured by direct contact. Pulp testing with dry ice from liquid CO2 showed disturbed sensitivity mainly of the upper anterior teeth. In the group with trauma the frequency of this phenomenon was increased compared to the group without trauma.

The electric pulp tester did not prove suitable for sensitivity tests compared with dry ice testing.

Résumé

Chez 134 enfants et adolescents, qui suivaient un traitement orthodontique, nous avons examiné 1435 incisives et canines permanentes. Près de la moitié des patients ont été victimes d'un accident des dents antérieures, les deux sexes étant atteint de manière égale mais les filles étaient moins blessées par des causes directes que les garçons. Des examens de sensibilité effectués avec de la neige de dioxide de carbone ont montré surtout des altérations dans la région des incisives supérieures. Le nombre des dents hyposensibles était augmenté dans le groupe des patients traumatisés par rapport au groupe sans trauma dentaire.

Pour les tests de sensibilité chez les adolescents, le test au froid est préférable au test électrique.
