High levels of free fatty acids and their esters in lymphoid cells resistant to cortisone or cyclophosphamide

Summary

The lymphoid cells from thymus, slpeen or mesenteric lymph node of mice treated with hydrocortisone or cyclophosphamide contained the significantly high levels of free fatty acids, triglycerides and cholesterol esters as compared to the corresponding cells from untreated animals.
