Repair limit replacement policies with lead time

Zeitschrift für Operations Research Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

This paper considers a repair limit replacement model for a single-unit system taking account of the lead time to replace a new unit. It discusses the optimum repair limit replacement policies minimizing the expected cost per unit time in the steady-state. Numerical examples of such optimum policies are also presented.
