Warren D. Cheney is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who was for five years a resident of Munich where he carried out training analysis under Fritz Riemann as part of his training as a candidate at the Institut für Psychologische Forschung und Psychotherapie. From an early period interested in community psychiatry, he was the Founder and First President of the American Community Guidance Service, Munich.
