Zusammenfassung
Die bisher untersuchten „Normalreihen“ von Gesteinen zunehmender Metamorphose bei gleichem Ausgangsmaterial werden diskutiert, und es wird die Vermutung geäußert, daß es sich um Summierungen divergenter und z. T. sogar rückläufiger Einzelakte handelt. Eine geochemisch konservative Metamorphose ist möglich bis in sehr hochgradierte pt-Bedingungen hinein, etwa im Bereich der Granulitzone, und zwar vermutlich wegen des geringen H2O-Gehalts in dieser Zone. Mobilisationen und Metasomatosen können den Stoffbestand beträchtlich verändern. Ihr Anteil ist bei der Untersuchung geochemischer Normalreihen von demjenigen der konservativen Metamorphose zunächst abzutrennen. Es besteht keine enge und einfache Beziehung zwischen dem Metamorphosegrad und dem Pauschalchemismus von Metamorphiten gleichen Ausgangsmaterials.
